Not fitting into ‘norm’

“I wish I could say I believe in this sign, but I don’t. Until my body and other bodies who look like mine or don’t fit the “norm” are valid why should anyone else’s be?
I’m tired of seeing socially acceptable bodies squeezing their excess skin as if it was fat rolls, positioning their bodies in unflattering poses to come across as body positive. I’m sick of my fellow fat friends’ posts being deleted or threatening their livelihoods by deleting their Instagram’s.
If you go look at pages like Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Gwyneth Paltrow they all are doing the “hand bra” pose. It’s okay if bodies that don’t look like ours are posing nude. They’re NEVER deleted!! I’m tired of the movement being hijacked, I’m tired of it being taken from BIPOC, LGBTQ+ fat folks! I’m tired of the pure hate.
We are the last socially acceptable people in this world. It’s honestly frustrating for so many folks that don’t fit into the “norm”.
Until then I ask that you support them, share their posts, help them grow their accounts, stand up against fat phobia, be an ally, help us become apart of the algorithm again.”
